Christmas Gift Holders

I made these oversized Christmas Gift Holders to hold gift certificates that we are giving out this year for Christmas! Lots of fun to make.  The pictures on the fronts are a portion of a piece 12x12 speciality Christmas patterned papers I found in my stash.  The bow is made out of 5 ovals with the center cut out, then stickled!  One brad on the box tops left goes thru all layers to connect the top...other brads added to just the box top front to even out the look...ribbon added to embellish, & gift tag added to personalize with family name.  ( idea from pinterests )

Reindeer Gift Card Holder

This Gift Card idea came from Pinterest.  My version is made with the reindeer cut from the Joys Of Christmas, cricut cartridge.  I cut the head & feet off the die cut body & made my own body 2 3/4" x 4" stapling the 2 sides together to make the pocket for holding a Gift Card.  Added patterned paper to cover staples.  Embellished with roly-poly eyes, red jingle bell for nose, stickles to enhance antlers, face features, ears & hoofs...red ribbon for nose.  I hope the receivers of these gift cards will enjoy them.

Pumpkin Decoration

I made 2 of these cute pumpkins this year, one for myself & one to donate as a door prize at our fall rally.

To make this pumpkin you need 18 large canning rings (I got these at Hy-Vee Grocery Store 12 to a box) orange spray paint, a cinnamon stick, a orange pipe cleaner, garnish ( I used some pieces off a fall pix) & a hot glue gun.

Spray paint all canning rings, & let dry.  Then you want to thread the rings onto the pipe cleaner.  Make sure all rings are facing the same direction.  Tighten & tie pipe cleaner, to form a ring.  (By now I've messed with it enough that the paint is chipping off so I sprayed it again & let dry).  Stick cinnamon stick down the middle, determine how long you want the stem & cut shorter if desired.  Hot glue garnish as needed.  Enjoy!

Decorated Wooden Name

I made this for my nephew's newly adopted oldest daughter(they adopted a sibling group of four kids).  I plan on making one of these sets for each of the kids as their birthdays arrive.  This one was for Ellie!
