Retro Diaper Cake

My two nieces are giving my daughter a baby shower on May 28th.  Amy, my niece, asked if I would make a diaper cake for the shower.  The theme is RETRO and the colors are red and several shades of blue.  I found these cute, cute wooden animals at a hobby store.  I had originally thought I wanted a small wooden train set....or small wooden cars....but I could not find any that weren't too big.  Then I found these and just thought they were perfect.  There are 101 newborn diapers on this diaper cake.  CLICK TO ENLARGE PHOTO

Mother's Day

This is the card all the mothers in my family will receive this year. I lifted the idea from Cardmaker magazine May 2011. The pocket type card has the message on the insert. The border punch is from eK and all the coordinating papers are from my stash. The "Love Letters" paper flowers are from Prima Marketing.

Wine Bottle Decoration

We made WINE BOTTLE DECORATIONS at craft time while at our first camp out of the year at Lathrop Missouri. We just used an empty wine bottles, I prefer a dark color one with a fun label...added a small string of clear (Christmas) lights to the inside of the bottle, stuffing them in with some colored tinsel, then added what ever greenery and pics that suit your fancy and decor. I also made one for the bedroom of the RV...will try to remember to take a picture of it to share when we go camping this weekend. When lit it make a nice atmosphere, mood, or night light!
