Bunny Card

This is a stamp I purchased years ago.  I colored it
the "old fashioned" way.

Birthday Card

I love Martha Stewart's punch around the page punches!
The cake, the butterfly and the zig zag border are all Martha Stewart Punches.

DID'r Lesson 3

My grandson Preston had his 3rd birthday in January and I loved the colorful papers from my lesson 3 class Digi In Deeper.  I thought it would make a fun layout.  Here it is!

Crochet

I have been working hard learning how to crochet. My Mom started when I was 8 or 9 but I didn't get it until now. The 'Needlers' at the RV park knit or crochet hats for the cancer patients at Cancer Center of America just down the road. We're told that chemo treatments make a person extremely cold so they love, love, love these hats. We do every color imaginable, except white, which reminds the patients of death. The pattern is so easy and 99.9% of it is a double crochet.

4th of July Wreath

This is the 4th of July Wreath that I made and I will be teaching a class on it at our RV Rally this summer. I have made up 30 packets and hope they all sell.

Supply List: 1-12" Green Wire Wreath, 1 package 20 or 35 clear lights (Christmas Tree Lights), 16-18" pieces of Red Punchinello Ribbon, 16-18" pieces of White Punchinello Ribbon, 10-18" pieces of Blue Punchinello Ribbon, 22 pipe cleaners, & 3-5 stars cut out of craft foam. (Punchinello Ribbon may also be called Honeycomb Ribbon, and I bought it on line at theribbonsource.com) I found that this type of ribbon is hard to find when you want to make something with it...it may be more popular at Christmas time.

Take 2 pieces of the same color ribbon & weave pipe cleaner in & out of every other hole, longways, starting at one end, going to the opposite end.

Gather ribbon, bunching up to cover just the front side of the wreath frame.

Use the ends of the pipe cleaners to tie the ribbon to the frame on the back side. Repeat colors, 2 red, 2 white, etc for 3/4 of the wreath, repeat with the 10 pieces of blue ribbon for 1/4 part of the wreath.
Adorn with stars on blue ribbon by hot glueing them on.
Add lights if you desire, scattering around by poking between the ribbon from the back side of wreath, securing in place with a pipe cleaners that you already tied on with ribbon. (Start with cord hanging down from the bottom of the wreath, going around)

ME

This is the last lesson in the Digi In Deeper Class...I almost didn't even scrapbook this one...I really do not care for the layout and its not just because I'm in it...I thought the circles were very hokey...but made myself do it for the learning value...which was actually just a review. I use my favorite DigiKit, Phoebe's Room by Chrystal Wilkerson...instead of the kit that came with the class.

Road Trip

This is Lesson 11 of Digi in Deeper...it was so much fun to do this Retro Layout...and brings back many fond memories of my 2 weeks visit as I flew up to Alaska to be with Larry before he flew back home from working there and we did a lot of exploring.

JOY

This Christmas Card was suppose to be my last weeks posting for "A Card A Week"! Really fun to make, not an original idea...I seen it some where! It is made up using 3 Cuddle Bug Embossing Folders, Martha Steward border punch Pine Leaves, Reindeer and Christmas Trees from the Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridge, Joy is a Cricut Cartridge, White satin w/silver thread ribbon, Diamond Stickles on the Reindeer's Antlers! I used chipboard behind the elements to help give depth.

Just to CUTE

This is my real Lesson 10 of the Digi In Deeper Class, the previous layout was an impostor! LOL! Really lesson 9...I got confused...anyway...this is a Whimsical layout, I think it has become one of my favorite styles...

Fall Fun

This is Lesson 10 of the Digi In Deeper class I've been taking...can't wait till Sue and Kathy are posting their layouts! Only 2 lessons left and I'll be happy to have this class over...as it is hard taking 2 classes at one time...along with all the other obligations I have!
