Refurbished Nightstand

I had a nightstand in my guest room that needed to be painted. The room is painted a light yellow and it is decorated in shabby chic. I have a dresser that came from my great grandmother which I have promised not to paint a dressing table, a day bed, a white wicker chair and this night stand. Last year I had painted the top yellow and did some stamping on it but it was not working. Yesterday I sanded it down, painted and distressed it. On it is a cute vintage bedside lamp I purchased a couple of months ago at a shabby chic store called 'Not Too Shabby' in Cave Creek, Arizona. I love that store and I'm always able to find something that I don't really need but can't live without.

Thanks Betty...I love doing this kind of stuff more than making cards, if I only had a workshop. A gal can dream.

Sheri, I love this little nite stand! I love the knobs...and the sanded edges! Very nice! Glad you created this "furniture" label...I'll have to post the crib I am refinishing for Chrissie, when I get it done.
